The girl across the table continued to pontificate about why she didn't want her puppy to finish too young... "Besides, you know, those puppy flyers are just a flash in the pan. They finish when they are young and cute, never to be heard from again." I shot Sandi a look. Then, never one to keep my mouth shut for long, inquired "What about Cheetah? She just keeps getting better and winning more..."
Maturity has served Cheetah well. As she has matured, she reminds us more and more of her grandmother, Allie. And like Allie, she's winning Breeds at the specialties, supported shows and sweepstakes from the Veteran class. Nobody told her to slow down. She's still ready to go!
We have five puppies out of Cheetah and they are all very special to us. We have Wizard, Roadie and Topper sired by Dillon. And we have Traveler and Seiko sired by Buddy (frozen). Although few in number, we expect these wonderful babies to make a huge contribution to the future of MonAmi. In the meantime, Cheetah is enjoying the transition from Cheerleader to Senior Princess. Life is good.
