Zuni got off to a bad start, being placed in a home where he didn't receive any socialization or training. When he was rehomed with Lynda, he was a mess. I wasn't sure he would ever come around to being a stable, sound dog. He was Lynda's first dog, and she put all her time and effort into him. And look where they've ended up!
Zuni finished his championship quickly, and went on to win a group placement, with Lynda handling. But his greatest success has been in the agility ring. Full of drive and work ethic, Zuni won his titles competing in the tough California agility ring with all those Border Collies! He sired one litter, out of CH EZ-M MonAmi Seminole Wind AX AXJ, resulting in five
puppies, four of which went on to earn advanced titles in agility and/or obedience.
Zuni is a grand old gentleman, having mellowed a little in his old age. If you go to agility trials in So California, you are likely to see him hanging out at Lynda's trailer with his daughter, Jezebel. Lynda gave Zuni a chance for a whole new life, and he changed her life as well. We love you, Zuni!
